Effective 2 September 2026

Terms of use.

These terms set the ground rules for using the Oxerix web app, public site and related equestrian event services.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Oxerix, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use Oxerix on behalf of an event organiser or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organisation within your assigned role.

2. Accounts, eligibility and roles

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and promptly tell support if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Oxerix provides account permissions appropriate to each user and service function. You may use only the access assigned to your account. Google sign-in is available for subscriber accounts.

If you are a minor, use Oxerix only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • access another person’s account or use a role you are not authorised to use;
  • submit event information you do not have authority to provide;
  • interfere with the service, bypass security controls or probe for vulnerabilities without written permission;
  • use Oxerix to harass, deceive or unlawfully monitor another person;
  • copy, scrape or redistribute protected service content except as permitted by law or written agreement; or
  • use the service in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

4. Event information and official decisions

Oxerix helps authorised event users publish and update events, riding orders, statuses and results. The accuracy and timing of that information depend on the information supplied and actions taken by event organisers.

Important: Oxerix is an information and workflow tool. Follow the directions of event officials for safety, arena access and final official decisions. Do not rely on the app as an emergency or safety-alert system.

Where an app display differs from an organiser’s official record or announcement, contact the organiser or an authorised official for confirmation.

5. Subscriptions and access

Subscriber features may depend on an active entitlement, complimentary access or a subscription product when enabled. Web subscription checkout is handled through PayFast when enabled; during sandbox testing no real charge is created. Android subscription purchases, where offered, are handled separately through Google Play. Any price, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown through the applicable payment flow before you agree to pay.

6. Intellectual property

Oxerix and its original software, branding and site content are protected by intellectual-property law. Event organisers and other contributors retain responsibility for the content they provide and grant Oxerix the permissions reasonably needed to host, process and display it as part of the service.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Oxerix available and useful, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Connectivity, device conditions, hosting services, event workflows and third-party providers can affect availability. Features may be updated, suspended or retired where reasonably necessary.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted or ended where an account is inactive, unauthorised, used in breach of these Terms, presents a security risk, or where an event organiser’s authority ends. Subscribers may request account deletion using the deletion process.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Oxerix is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that event information will always be complete, current or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Oxerix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing rules and disputes

These Terms are interpreted under the law applicable to the Oxerix operator and the user, including any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
